About LumenX
A free, student-built platform for targeted AMC preparation.
Hi, I'm Titus, a high school sophomore from California and the creator of LumenX.
Last year, while preparing for my first AMC 10 competition, I found that existing resources didn't show me what I was doing wrong or where my specific weaknesses lay. While past exams and forum discussions were available online, there was no centralized tool to pinpoint my weak topic areas, evaluate my pacing, or give me targeted practice.
I built LumenX to make AMC math structured, diagnostic, and accessible to any student. Developed with TypeScript, React, and Supabase, it lets you take actual past AMC and AIME exams and see where to focus. Solo offers extra practice problems at increasing levels.
My goal is to continue refining the site into a useful, transparent tool for fellow math learners and self-directed students.
Contest problems and licensing
Past exam problems are © Mathematical Association of America and used under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Formatting adapted. LumenX adjusted line breaks, math rendering, and diagram placement, and does not copy Art of Problem Solving solutions or community writeups. Each problem links to its AoPS wiki page. The site is free and non-commercial. LumenX is an independent project and isn't endorsed by the MAA.
